Author Topic: Can't log on for months to my geneanet Club Privilege  (Read 38 times)

I have tried for many months to log on to my Club Privilege account which I paid for in Nov. 2008 for one year. Now it is up for renewal and I would subscribe again but fear I will just be thrown off again. I have tried everything I know of to get to my account with no luck. When you send me my log on and password the screen says "hi helenp!" but then will not recognize me further to see any trees. Help please.

If the screen says "Hi helenp!", you are logged in. I have tried using your account: everything works fine and your Club Privilege account is available.

Can you explain your problem?

Thank you so much for replying. When I have asked for my username and password to be sent to me and I click on the link provided, that is when I see the "Hi helen!". But here is my problem after that:

After I click on the link you send, 1) I see the "Hi helenp" on the screen so I begin a search. The "Hi helenp" disappears and "subscribe for free" appears. 2) I still search anyway and when I find a tree I want to look at it says "to view this tree I should sign in" or "only available to Club Privilege members" so please sign in. At this point I thought I was already signed in. So I sign in again. The larger screen (with the Free Subscription Screen to the right) flashes, but nothing happens. The screen still says "Please sign in". Over and over again. If I do another search the same thing happens. The results are only available to Club Privilege members.

I assure you I have tried this at least 50 times in the past few months, trying to link from the e-mails that I get regularly with updates on the surnames I am searching.

I can't even see "My Account" because I have to sign in to see it.

Thank you for your attention to my problem. I have come to the conclusion that the problem is with my system and not yours.
